That same year, she ran for Congress as a Strict Constitutionalist, Independent, Progressive candidate in the state of Florida because of several issues including the policy requiring veterans to be homeless 1 year before assistance from the VA. This ruling was the first time in which independent doctors hired by the NFL would state that a player’s brain injuries were caused from playing professional football and would eventually keep the 2017 NFL Concussion suit and billion-dollar settlement alive over a decade later.
